5. Cancellation and Rescheduling
If the client cancels:
• The booking fee remains non-refundable.
• Additional cancellation charges may apply depending on how close to the event the cancellation date occurs.
We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate rescheduling requests, subject to availability.
If we are unable to perform services due to illness, emergency, or circumstances beyond our control, we will make reasonable efforts to arrange a replacement photographer or provide a refund of amounts paid.
Parents or legal guardians must provide consent for photographs involving individuals under 18 years of age.
Clients are responsible for arriving on time and prepared for their session.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
• Copyright remains with the photographer.
• Commercial usage rights are licensed according to the terms specified in the quotation or licence agreement.
• Usage outside the agreed scope may require additional licensing fees.
8. Copyright and Intellectual Property
Under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988, copyright in all photographs remains with the photographer unless expressly assigned in writing.
Clients may not:
• Sell images;
• Alter images in a way that damages the photographer’s reputation;
• Use images beyond the agreed licence;
• Remove watermarks or copyright notices.
Delivery times are estimates only.
We will make reasonable efforts to deliver photographs within the timeframe stated in the booking agreement.
Minor editing variations, colour differences, and artistic decisions are at our discretion.
10. Portfolio and Marketing Use
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, we may use photographs for:
• Portfolio display
• Website galleries
• Social media promotion
• Studio samples
• Photography competitions
• Professional marketing
Where photographs contain identifiable individuals, we will ensure that any such use complies with applicable data protection laws and any consent preferences agreed with the client.
Clients may opt out of promotional use by notifying us in writing before image delivery.
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
• We shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses.
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the services giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for:
• Death or personal injury caused by negligence;
• Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
• Any liability that cannot legally be excluded under UK law.
We are not liable for failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including:
• Severe weather;

We will investigate and respond within a reasonable period.
